AMA Recap Cryptoscreen With Brick Trade

On 10 February 2022, Brick Trade conducted an AMA in the Cryptoscreen Community. Our guest is the Guv Kang of Brick Trade.

Lots of questions as usual from the Community about Brick Trade progress. The Brick Trade team took part in a very interesting AMA session which included introductions, questions from twitter, and a live AMA session with the Cryptoscreen community. Okay, Before I start the first session can you introduce yourself to our community?

Guv Kang :
I will be glad to I am Guv Kang Founder and CEO of Bricktrade. I have more than 15 years of experience in the real estate sector as the founder of, a premium real estate agent located in London’s Docklands, with offices in Hong Kong. My expertise is in real estate sales and letting, development launches, redevelopment projects, property investment fundraising and managing relations with housing authorities.

Let’s start first Session

Q1. Can you tell the members a little about Bricktrade?

Guv Kang :
Bricktrade is a real estate tokenization platform to deliver fractional investments and property ownership by accepting crypto and fiat. Our current focus is on construction finance, where we help property developers raise their construction finance through crowdfunding, instead of going to the bank for this capital. This means we can provide investors with high returns in asset backed investments.

Investors will also have the opportunity to buy fractional parts of the finished units from the developer once they have been built. They can then choose to rent or sell the unit, which we can manage all in house.

Guv Kang :
The model is simple, the technology behind the scenes is complicated. By putting the two together we will change the way property investments are transacted, making it more streamlined, more consistent over borders and lowering the barriers to entry, while being the first to accept crypto and fiat.

Inol Granero :

Q2. Can you explain how Bricktrade and what kind of services it offers to users?

Guv Kang :
Our platform will allow property developers to send us projects, we will then carry out full due diligence on them and also valuations, costings, timelines on the project and then this will be published for our Investors to be able to invest into the construction finance of the project or into the properties being built. With our partners Waterfronts we can rent and manage the property on the crowd of investors in each property.

We will be launching several products over the next two years, such as asset backed construction finance and fractional ownership. We are currently focused on launching a full production version of our platform and also achieving all of the necessary legal and compliance demands on the platform.

Q3. What products does Bricktrade have and in the future, will you add more products?

Guv Kang :
Bricktrade will launch by offering the following services;
– Asset backed construction finance investment with interest up to 10%
– Fractional ownership of the developing assets we funded

Bricktrade will have many future services, to name a few;
– Staking Pools
– Affordable Housing
– Property Raffles (which allows our users to win a property in the UK debt free!)

Q4. How do you solve liquidity issues and how to ensure user asset security?

Guv Kang :
This is all baked into our business model. Our model is more about fixed income earning with asset backed investing. These function more like fixed income bonds so there is not much trading activity and volatility. User asset security is all done via the users wallets which have the same institutional level security that you would expect from a modern crypto firm.

Q5. Have you met all your goals in the roadmap till now? And were there any difficulties that you didn’t expect and were not be from for?

Guv Kang :

I will share the new road map for the future, what we have achieved so far is;
– Produced our Whitepaper
– Brought together an experienced team
– Designed the platform
– Developed our Beta platform
– Developed our 2x apps (IOS & Android)

Guv Kang :
So back this roadmap is from Q4 2021 till Q2 2023, which we are on target for;
We have our compliance team in place and in the process of being regulated by the FCA and just announced our partners Crowd for angels

Our blockchain and skating functionality will be announced by the end of Q1 as will our listing of BRKT token on exchanges.

Q2. Usually an investor invests in a project for high returns. So how will you achieve that goal and how will you guarantee your investors, traders and innovators that they will have high returns? @viksion_91728

Guv Kang :
We have 2 token types: BRKT – our company token so know that as we hit our roadmap and grow this token will do well
Property tokens – are stable and asset backed which pay fixed returns and do not suffer from volatility.

So we provide 2 options and investors can decide which suits their investment profile.

Q3. What strategies does your project use to position itself and grow its community of players and strengthen it? What are the advantages that allow you to stand out in the market? What is the strategy to get tokens like? @Bahagam1

Guv Kang :
We have 24hour telegram community managers to make sure our community can reach out to us at anytime they need us. We have various news and updates coming out regularly to make sure our community is updated. We also have regular competitions where our community can get involved and win some prizes.

Q4. How do you at Bricktrade expect to leverage the benefits that your recent partnership with LaunchPoolXYZ will bring? What specific aspects of the Bricktrade platform will be improved as a result? @El_yasa123

Guv Kang :
Our partnership with Launchpool has been invaluable, their expertise and knowledge has helped us learn and connected us with experts in the industry. It has helped us to raise our seed round and shortly we will be in our private round before IDO launch in March.
They were also integral in helping us design our token omics;

We have already started deploying our seed raise to better the platform by designing a staking solution, start development on our chain and begin integration with our payment gateways for our investors. We also hope to have a re-design of the website before we launch our working platform.

Q5. Almost 4/5 of investors are focused purely on the price of token in short term instead of understanding the real value and health of the project. Could you tell us on motivations and benefits for investors to hold your token in long term?

Guv Kang :

BRKT Token holders will have the ability to view and invest into various projects we will be listing on our marketplace, all asset backed. We will also be introducing skating pools where we will purchase income generating build assets and share yields with our investors.
